Be Strong in Waiting
For sure we have been praying for something that requires us to wait and provide more time for His final answers. The outcome could be "yes", "no" and "not this time". One thing that we should understand is that there is victory in waiting, there are rewards behind it and be ensured that He has always the best plan in our lives, so don't give up but instead rejoice and be strong in waiting. We can see the reasons behind it from Isaiah 40:28-31, on which states:
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
On the above Scriptures, one blessing that we can received from Him during the delays is a renewed strength. If we continue to follow Him and increase our faith, He will pour out to us His energy and that His Spirity will continue to lift us up. For every decisions that we make, it is better to wait and pray for it because behind every battle that we are facing, God is fight in our behalf. There is no verse in the bible that says that we should control and fight our own battles. He is always there for us, giving us hope and assurance of His great purposes and reasons for every situation. We should be patient and continue to trust Him. I have posted something on my Facebook wall that my prayers haven't been answered for two months. I waited for His answers that faith and trust were always there and the fruit was an answered prayers in two consecutive days.
When we read the bible, we notice that a victory was given to every God's saints who were waiting and trusting in the Lord? We can do the same thing, just wait for the perfect time and the triumph will be revealed to us. Just remember that He is always on our side, He is always doing the best thing on our behalf and by that, we can't lose. Just like in the song, "and if our God is with us, then what could against?".

Who is the Real Boss?
When I was young, I tried to make money as early as nine years old but I have no means of doing it. It is basically to help my parents regarding the expenses in our home. I remember that I used to sell plastic bags in a market and it wasn't simple. I also experienced working in a publishing house, I used to write short stories for comics and it was 150 pesos each. I also tried going door to door giving out flyers as an advertisement for a school supplies store. Thank God I have the best parents in the world who worked hard so that we can finish our studies. I thought life would be easy in terms of work, that I just have to do my best and impress my boss in everything I do to earn that money.
I experienced hardships, stress, job loss, sickness and almost giving up in work. Sometimes, I don't feel fulfillment in my work as I always thought of being the best in the eyes of my manager. Eventually, I realized the true meaning of service. He told us that we should serve one another but we might encounter certain people that will make our lives difficult and miserable. We might face an overcontrolling boss, a powertripper manager and demanding supervisor. But thanks to His words, we are bound to the true meaning of work and whom we serve. I always look into these verse whenever I am having a challenging stage in my work: Colossians 3:23-24 (23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.)
If we put in our hearts the true meaning of such biblical definition then the impact of our work will lead to a better place. Also, the quality of each of our steps will be improved and it will keep us going. So whatever our task is, whether "cool" to others or not or even seems to be unattractive, lets put Him first in everything we do and always put in our minds that we do our work to glorify Him and He is the real boss. Trust Him that He will use us for His purposes and that we were not put in our position for the good of others. We are portraying our roles and goals wherever we are. So if we are having any trouble in our work that pertains to our boss, just think that they are answerable to the Maker and that we only serve to Him, we should impress Him, do everything for Him and serve Him with joyful heart and in the end, we won't be needing approval and appreciation from others. We need to know only that God is pleased and promises reward those who serve Him (Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.)

Our Primary Goal
For sure most of us have set our goals for the next few years or so on. This may include a family, a car, a house and lot or even small things such as losing ten pounds or gain more weight or even completin
g our lovely collection of bags, shoes, dress, etc. But have you asked yourself about achieving spiritual goals? We need to understand that goal is a purpose or direction toward we work. Have you planned how to grow and be matured spiritually? Is he included in your "goals list" and dreams. Words for the day: Philippians 3:7-14 (7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.)
I believe that He comes first in everything we do, let's try to be more passionate in meeting Him everyday and make it an exciting encounter always. Sometimes I feel so lazy and even forget to do my devotion every morning but one thing that I always ensure is that I can still pray and put even a little amount of time in praying, even on my office desk. I spend around 15 to 20 minutes of praying and reading some scriptures. Also, this blog is absolutely for Him. It is one way of getting close to Him and to share the world how great His love to us. I believe that in order to achieve this goal, we should put dedication and be intimate in every moment. As you can see on the above bible verse, Paul is a very goal oriented person and I am praying that I can be like him. To reach our spiritual goals, we can start in a very little ways. We can spend 10 minutes just after we woke up or even read the bible while we are having our breakfast. We can also pray inside the train or take a 15 minute break and pray in a toilet. God has provided us all the time and what we need to do is just to treasure it and use it the best ways and that includes meeting Him everyday. By starting a small steps, we can aim higher but we must observer the true passionate spirit and dedication in doing this. Also, commitment is one of the most important things in achieving this goal. I hope that today, you have updated your "goals list" and put Him on item number 1. Just aim for Him, do everything for Him first and the rest will follow.
